Are you fed up with having to plan your life around your bladder?

Have you had enough of the mad dashes to almost make it to the toilet, what I call toilet-hopping?

What if I could teach you what I’ve learnt and you could start to take back your bladder control too?

Yes! I want to improve my bladder control!

What if, over the course of 5 days, you could learn how to naturally improve your bladder control?

And don’t think you’re out on a limb here or experiencing this condition on your own. The statistics for women suffering from bladder control issues are crazy – every second woman you see or meet is suffering from some form of bladder problem and the figures aren’t much better for our men folk. Just stand at the supermarket next time you visit and look down the aisles at all the customers. One in two women is having issues with bladder control. Now that’s a sobering statistic and one that I’m determined to improve.

Why should you have to put up with your bladder dictating the terms?

Are you up for the challenge?

Can you set aside 30 mins a day for five days to naturally improve your bladder control? I really hope you said yes because you may not realise it but the biggest problem you may have with your bladder control is habit. And every time you give in to your bladder the habit grows worse.

Do you know the thing I hated most about having urinary incontinence? The fact that it’s always there – I could never be sure if the next cough or exertion was going to cause a leak. It was a constant worry for me, subconsciously, and every twinge, leak and inconvenient moment of wet knickers reminded me of the fact that my bladder had taken control.

You can imagine how thrilled I am to be sitting here with you right now and sharing that you don’t have to go through the misery of incontinence on your own. I’m here any time you want to talk – tess.dryswan@aapt.net.au so don’t feel you’re all alone with this because you’re not. But, enough about me – I’m sorted, able to do whatever I want to do and go wherever I like. This is now all about You! You deserve to learn the truth, You deserve to learn what I’ve discovered through my journey back from incontinence. I’ve been figuring out how to share what I know with you – apart from my book. So let’s look at how I can help you right now – today.

Firstly you may like to download my Free App – Dry Swan Bladder Trainer and look at the exercise. Then, get familiar with the exercise and how it works for you. If you have reasonable balance you will be fine but, as with any exercise, do take care.

This photo really speaks to me and probably to you also because, if you do belong to the spare clothes brigade, I’ve got some good news for you, but you need to let go of a few bad habits to really understand where I’m coming from. You see, it’s not normal to experience bladder leakage. You’ve probably heard that as we get older we naturally should expect our bladders to fail – listen carefully for the sound of the buzzer uhrrr! Wrong! Try again… You see, the truth is that your body and mine are wonderfully made (you are an awesome creation of God, totally unique!) and, unless there is some serious physical reason why you’re experiencing bladder issues, then it’s quite a simple fix – you just take back your bladder control one Dry Swan exercise at a time. (I love that exercise, it’s amazing and can distract the brain signal to your bladder in a few seconds, giving you the ability to retrain your bladder).

So, I got to thinking how great it would be if I could quickly share what I’ve learnt and have decided to hold a small event to show you how to take back your bladder control and just how straightforward and effective Dry Swan exercise is.

As we take a look at the facets of your life that are contributing to your poor bladder control, you will begin to see that you can take back control naturally.

So what’s involved in the Challenge?

I need you to be committed to those five days – ie 30 minutes of your time for five days. Can you do that? Is your health and well being important enough for you to allocate some time to do your Dry Swan challenge? I’m not being sarcastic here as I know what it’s like to actually take some time for yourself and that’s what I meant about bad habits, because my experience has proven that our health is greatly affected through doing too much for everyone else and that’s why I want you to commit to half an hour a day just for you. If you’re struggling with the thought of giving yourself a little extra time per day for five days, then you may be seeing part of the problem.  It’s so important for you to take some time for yourself and if you’ve been feeling down trodden lately, and becoming resentful of everything you do, that will be reflected in your health and shows that you are stretched way beyond a healthy stress level.

The truth is that you have a fun loving side of you that’s being neglected and is sad, yes we all have that little person inside, that kid that wants to just have fun. Being as busy as you are though, and putting everyone else’s needs before your own, has brought you to this place of experiencing bladder leakage and possibly poor physical health in general. You’ve heard the old saying, it never rains…it pours and it’s in the midst of menopause when the proverbial hits the fan. And with menopause arriving at a younger and younger age, I hope you can see that you are certainly not on your own with this.

So, taking 30 minutes a day just for you, is a wonderful start on your journey back to good health and back to having fun. Are you seeing what I’m saying? You know you need to make some serious changes. I feel like we’ve bumped into each other on the same path, except I’m on my way out of the hellhole and you’re heading in the wrong direction!

Yes! I want to improve my https://bettermenopauseclub.com/coursebladder control!

Please…stop doing everything for everyone else because your body is tired…nay, exhausted! Just because you can keep ‘pushing past it’ doesn’t mean you should, especially during menopause. So, have a think about joining the challenge 5 Days To Naturally Improved Bladder Controland doing something just for you.

For five days you will be doing the following: Starting with downloading your Dry Swan Detective Diary, you will then be:

Daily recording your bladder control experience – with an easy to follow scale

Daily practising Dry Swan exercise at home

Receiving a daily email from yours truly with information

Joining me for a daily Facebook Live Quick Update (which you can watch at a time to suit you)

Sharing your wins in our private Facebook Group specially created for the challenge

All in all, it will take you around 30 minutes a day to take part in the event, depending on how long you take to do the daily assignment.

So, let me ask you a quick question before we get on with our busy lives. Do you know that your current condition is as much about neglecting your health as it is about anything else? It’s true, and it’s not until you begin to regain your bladder control that you understand just how much urinary incontinence is affecting your physical and mental health. Being restricted as to where you travel, what activities you can enjoy, the friendships that are affected by your condition, the type of clothing you wear. It’s all mixed up together and all your relationships can be greatly enhanced through you taking back your bladder control.

Your Bladder Control Checklist

So, before you dash off (yes, I KNOW what you’re up to, rushing here and there), take a look at my quick checklist below and answer truthfully:

* Do you have a spare set of clothes in the car and/or office drawer?

* Do you have to get up at night to go to the toilet?

* Do you avoid friends’ invitations to new locations where you don’t know if there will be a toilet handy?

* Do you have leaks when sneezing, coughing or exerting yourself in any way – eg stretching or bending to pick up?

* Have you stopped going to the gym or exercising regularly?

* Are you cutting back on water and drinks to try to solve your leakage issue?

* Are you faced with wearing pads on a daily basis?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then I think you would REALLY benefit from giving yourself half an hour a day to challenge yourself. That might sound like a sweeping statement but, hand on heart, every woman who has used Dry Swan, that I have had contact with, has experienced improvement from the first time using it. Because it’s not wishful thinking or mind over matter  or thinking dry thoughts – but a serious brain signal distraction technique that will give you extra time to get to the toilet and to stretch out the interval between toilet visits as you retrain your bladder and take back control.

I’m sending a big hug to you and hope you will join me as I share what I’ve learnt. I think it will benefit you in many ways as I’m cutting to the chase so you can quickly and easily learn what took me ages. So, my dear, awesome menopausal sister…turn around on that path to selfless you, and join me as we walk together and I will share with you what I’ve learnt about regaining your health so you don’t end up collapsed at work, whisked away in an ambulance (the first of five trips) and eventually lose your ability to work due to ill health. You may be just a step away from that scenario.

I’ve learnt so much in my years of personal research and one of the most important discoveries for me (and for you) is realising that your health during menopause is a reflection of all the chapters in your life. It’s a time when past hurts will subconsciously hit you like a huge slap in the face and you find yourself crying for hours, yet don’t know why. Those around you are hopefully being sympathetic and loving you through it but what if you’re on your own? Well, you’re not anymore. You have a friend who will help you in any way I can because I know what depression, anxiety and the awful physical symptoms of migraine, hot flushes/flashes, forgetfulness, foggy brain when you’re trying to finish a sentence, is like. Not to mention the umpteen others!

Do this for me – picture yourself as you used to be…confident, self-assured and dry. Not wearing a pad dry – but dry! Pads are hot and I don’t care how thin they are, they are cumbersome and annoying. Besides that, when you’re leaking into a pad you’re telling your body and your bladder that you have no control! You’re giving them permission to take over! Not on my watch! I want to see you wearing your favourite underwear again, not the ones you currently wear to accommodate those annoying pads. I want to see your freedom restored! I want to see you take back your bladder control too or, at the very least, improve it.

On a personal note – I will never, ever forget the moment when I took back my bladder control – in a split second I felt the urge dissipating as I completed my first Dry Swan exercise. I’d just gotten home from the supermarket and had bags of groceries hanging off my arms as I fumbled to unlock the front door, experiencing a hot flush complete with that awful throbbing in your head and feeling like the top of my head was going to explode! I dropped those bags and kicked them out of the way, stumbling over them as I stepped onto the grass and the Dry Swan exercise was born. Wow…what a moment in time. I remember sitting on the seat outside our front door and just thanking God over and over and over again, with tears streaming down my face. It was a glorious moment and from that time on I silently determined that I had to find a way to share what I’d discovered with you. Not just the Dry Swan exercise but also everything I’m learning every day about our diet, hormonal changes (greatly affected by diet) and stress levels.

Please take Some Time Out For YOU! You see, I know you’re worth taking half an hour a day and I really and truly, from the bottom of my heart, hope you know that too. Besides, we’re going to have a lot of fun. For starters Facebook Live is new to me so that should be a hoot and we can all just spend some time together sharing what we know, what works for each of us and supporting each other along the way. Your pathway to dry knickers/panties/bloomers/undies/underwear/pantaloons/frillies/smalls/unmentionables/drawers or any other name you call them starts right here…

Yes! I want to improve my bladder control!

My daughter said to me the other day, just stopped when we were out shopping and walking through the mall, touched my arm and said: “It’s so good to have you back Mum!” We hugged and I thanked God again for giving me my quality of life and my freedom. As I continued to walk it dawned on me just how much my struggle had affected everyone in the family and, with a renewed spring in my step, we carried on shopping. – and I didn’t have to check around me for the nearest toilet either!

We don’t realise how much our ‘just coping’ with life affects those around us, but it does. I learnt that by getting well and staying strong I’m able to give so much more than when I had the weight of the world on my shoulders. I’ve learnt to stop and smell the roses as they say and it all started with that first step of Dry Swan.

I knew in that moment in time that I was on my way back.

Now it’s your turn. x
