Well, now the mystery is solved!

Vitamin B12 helps with our memory and concentration.

That’s why my memory improved when I started using raw organic milk – because raw milk contains a good amount of vitamin B12.

Then I discover that raw organic eggs are also high in vitamin B12, so that explains my health continuing to improve – when I switched from commercially grown and supplied products to organic fruit, veges and dairy.

What a wonderful way to top up your vitamins and minerals!

Of course, you can take supplements but my favourite is to eat my way to good health.

With foods like:

  • Beef and Lamb
  • Sardines and mackarel
  • Tuna (need to check out the mercury level first)
  • Cottage cheese
  • Fortified soy products
  • Raw cheese
  • Beef liver
  • Raw milk

So, you can either take supplements or get topped up with the wonderful benefits of vitamin B12 through delicious food.

Raw Milk is amazing because I noticed that from the moment I started using raw milk my memory improved. Now I can see why.

Good levels of vitamin B12 is important through menopause as that foggy brain and memory certainly need a helping hand.

One of the health risks us women face is that of breast cancer and research has shown that good levels of vitamin B12 can help prevent that.

I believe that a good wholesome diet (incorporating organic fruit, veges and dairy) is key to avoiding disease and maintaining good health.

Let’s look at some of the symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency and see how they compare to symptoms typical of menopause:

  • Depression
  • Memory loss
  • Constipation
  • Overweight
  • Poor immune system
  • Tiredness
  • Bone, back and muscle pain
  • Hair loss
  • Numbness and tingling of the arms and legs

If you’re working your way through a tough menopause, then vitamin B12 deficiency (and vitamin D) could be partially responsible.

Here’s my ideal solution:

Eggs on toast for brekkie! (Home made bread, butter from grass-fed cows)

Oatmeal with raw organic milk and organic honey

Fresh fruit

Filtered water

It’s true what they say – breakfast of a king (or queen!)

Health supplements are a multi-billion dollar business and you can save yourself a fortune by just eating good wholesome organic food, getting all those wonderful minerals and vitamins packed inside every bite.

Who would have thought that just switching to organic fruit, veg and dairy could turn my health around – from suffering multiple hemiplegic migraines, being overweight, miserable, unfit and a workaholic to enjoying life again. Enjoying cooking and eating food again.

One of the biggest discoveries I made was that low-fat products are nothing of the sort, so if you’re trying to maintain or lose weight during menopause the best thing in my book is to eat full cream, full fat and switch back to butter!

Why would I suggest that if you’re trying to lose weight?

Because you inhabit a very clever body! Your body knows when it is being fed well and will balance out those pounds and kilos to ensure a strong, well-functioning body and immune system. You really just go along for the ride!

But when you start putting diet drinks (check out the artificial sweetener and its other uses), low-fat processed foods into your body, you can expect all sorts of mayhem to break loose.

Good news is – the minute you switch back to wholefoods again, your body kicks back into gear processing, eliminating, building, renewing, growing.

And vitamin B12 plays a big role in that process.
