Achieving natural bladder control is all about persistence. If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say “I try to do my exercise but I keep forgetting” I would be a rich woman!
Here’s what typically happens – someone reads a post, or watches a video, and gets motivated to ‘change’ and starts looking around at their life and making a mental list of how to change a few things and feel 20 years younger. What’s the old saying – the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak?
So the next step is to jump in, sign up and start to receive LOTS of information…am I right?
Then, the overwhelm starts and the three sites you signed up with begin to take on a mountainous shape, and before long, you’re sitting there feeling even more overwhelmed than you did before you started on your latest attempt to health improvement. I know I’ve been there.
With the best will in the world, you try to keep up with all the rah, rah emails and videos and direct messaging telling you that you can conquer the world (we are woman, hear us roar! Not so much!)
So, what if you could just quietly go through an online course yourself. With no-one but you and I knowing about it?
What if you could turn the clock back on your bladder control and gently restore those pelvic floor muscles and achieve better bladder control?
What if you could once again do all the things that you struggle to do at present?
Things like sports, dancing, sneezing, coughing, lifting and increasing your bladder capacity at the same time?
To save you time, if you’re interested to learn more about my online course, then here’s the link
So, getting back to my opening paragraph, why don’t we regularly do our bladder control exercises?
Is there an underlying issue of embarrassment that we can’t hold on like we used to so we prefer to ignore the condition and hope that it will go away or fix itself? So we really don’t need to exercise?
Maybe, but I tend to think it’s more about putting ourselves last than anything else. The problem with that is that when we continue to put ourselves last, including our health and wellbeing, we can find that we accept less and less quality of life.
Less quality of life typically goes hand in hand with more quanitity, more busyness, “I gotta lot to do” the George Castanza syndrome! (For those of you who watch Seinfeld).
So what do you do about it?
You take action…I can hear you…your mind is ticking along saying – “But I’ve got so MUCH to do Tess!”
See what I mean?
When I was struggling through the issue of bladder control (I still regularly do my Dry Swan exercises to maintain good control) I was so far down the bottom of my priority list that you would have had to use a telescope to see me!
The problem with that lifestyle is that eventually something gives way and I want you to avoid that event in your life. There’s no point both of us going through it – I experienced the kicks of the mule so you don’t have to.
That’s what I love about what I’m doing, helping women like you to restore your bladder control and no-one needs to know a thing. So, instead of you having to excuse yourself during an important meeting (nigh impossible if you’re a minute secretary, short of having to stop the whole meeting until you return) you can, in the comfort of your own home, work on your bladder and general health as you progress through your online course.
The best part is that, as you achieve better bladder control, your real confidence returns. That confidence that has been hiding away, especially during menopause, is brought back into the limelight and you can once again honestly shine your way through your day.
Fake it till you make it doesn’t work in menopause – it just doesn’t! You need someone who’s been there before you and prepared the way. Why should you suffer that kick of the mule and such disruption to your life, relationships, income and peace of mind when I can discreetly help you through your menopause journey?
If you’re picking up what I’m putting down – then feel free to email me for any questions you may have. tess.dryswan@aapt.net.au
